Updated Class Code List

I've updated the class code list, by adding Dwarf (K), Elf (L), Oracle (O) and Warlock (W) to the table.

I was toying with the idea of using Q for Elf, since Quenya is Tolkien's elvish language, but i'm not sure Q is that much better than L, as that letter is also the first "sound" in Elf.

I'm using letter K for the Dwarves since, in Tolkien, the Dwarves called themselves Khazad.

I still have five slots open:  H, Q, U, Y and Z.  Any thoughts on classes that could fill those slots?

Cavalier?

Once again, Desert Scribe, you come to the rescue. How did I miss H for Halfling?

New Big Dragon, do I put Cavalier under Q?

Quickling-an evil (tending) fey creature

Zulu-a variant Barbarian from the southlands known for offensive shield use (hitting people with it, not obscenely-sheesh you guys), short stabbing spears (assegai) and clubs (knobkerrie). When younger they fight crazy berserk in order to earn the right to marry. Once married they fight crazy berserk because they are married...

Undwarf-same size and shape as dwarf-don't necessarily have beards (place little value on them if they do), are friendly, pleasant to be around and get along with Elves. Few have drinking problems.

Yabba-Dabba-neanderthal type humans with lots of amazing stone-age and animal based technology (e.g. mastadon vacuum cleaners, heavy equipment dinosaurs, bird record players)

LOL! I had to add your suggestions to the table, although i'm still open to more "sober" suggestions...

:D

Cavalier under Q seems to work. Any other thought I might have would require too much work -

Example 1: moving Dwarf somewhere like U (for "Underground something or other?") so Cavaliers could have K (for Knight).

Example 2: moving Elf to Z (per your Tolkien thought) so that Cavaliers could have L (for "Lancer.")

Easily changed. I like K standing in for Cavalier / Knight.

Sage is more oldschool than sorcerer

Too true, did Arneson not also have some sort of merchant class?

Moved the Sage to S, the Dwarf to D and the Elf to E, Sorcerer went to O, the Druid was moved to U, the Enchanter to L (for now, not the best place for her)

Sorcerer to Occultist?

Enchanter to Lyricist?

Occult Sorcerer-best of both worlds.

Dial Q for Quester.

I already dialed M for Magic User, but there was no answer.
