Canadiana: Spaceship Superstar

You'd think many of these songs would have been written and performed by patriotic American stadium-rock bands.

Credit where credit's due... a Cancon band out of Vancouver, Canada, by the name of Prism.

Prism was the first concert I ever went to, back in 1979 or 1980. Thanks for the flashbacks.

I'm likely in the minority, but I, for one, am glad for CRTC`s Canadian content rules. We may never have heard of bands like Prism, if not for the on-air canadian content that CRTC required.

Eeeeeeeek!

These guys actually played the local drive-in one summer in the mid/late eighties! There were quite a few of their tour shirts showing up on the bodies of the peeps at the gaming tables I rolled the dice on.

Definitely not as cool as the Molly Hatchet t-shirts though...

Molly Hatchet shirts are the bomb.
