Joining The Grindhouse Gang

I'll freely admit, i've been jealous of those of you whose Lamentations Of The Flame Princess Weird Fantasy Role-playing Grindhouse Edition has already arrived. My jealousy has since turned to joy: My Grindhouse Edition arrived today!

Sorry for your bad luck. This edition is even better than the pdf version makes it appear. Hopefully your's arrives soon!

Yeah, still waiting here as well. My package is probably sitting on a shelf in Customs somewhere...ah well. It'll get here in time. I haven't even looked at the PDFs because I want my first experience to be "in the flesh," as it were.

The color illustrations really pop.

I'm sure it's great, but it doesn't really excite me much.

Pour quoi?

As a whole I'm not terribly interested in the game (nothing against it, but my heart belongs to S&W WB); however, I love that second to last picture you posted.

I have two copies of S&W WB. I use S&W as my base, since few people have original D&D and the S&W books are reasonably priced and just the right length for a rules-light game.

I really like several features of LotFP, and the artwork in the dead-tree version is very evocative.
