In an earlier post, I was lamenting the appearance of an early snowfall. As is typical for Calgary, we are now enjoying a rather pleasant spell of fall weather. Its, so pleasant in fact, that one of the neigbours has decided to wash his car.
Your block is quintessential Calgary, complete with the sloping curbs and the sidewalk on only one side of the street. Forget the Saddledome or the Calgary Tower, that picture is the iconic image of Cowtown.
I should have been paying attention to which side of the street was getting the sidewalk. I piked the wrong side ... my house is directly to the right (not shown)

Hey, where's the boat?
My neighbor, the SWAT team cop, finally took it to storage. I think i've got an extra key to the storage shed here somewhere ...
Now that's inviting--"borrowing" a boat from your SWAT cop neighbor.
He's a great guy, but could probably snap my neck by raising his eyebrow.
