As you may have heard, we had a flood in downtown Calgary that resulted in 75,000 (out of a city of 1 million) people being displaced from their homes. As I live at the second highest point in Calgary, we were not affected. Here are just a few photos of the devastation.

My father-in-law owns the Barley Mill in Eau Claire Market. He said the water got within a hundred feet, but they didn't get flooded. Looking at that picture of Princess Island, I'm stunned they didn't get totally swamped.
