Paizo Is Stealing WOTC's Cookies

Wizards made a huge mistake dropping their line of plastic pre-painted fantasy rpg miniatures. Paizo and Reaper have both stepped up, producing their own lines.

The new Paizo Heroes & Monsters figures are scheduled for release on January 11. This Black Dragon is the signature figure from the collection, although the remaining miniatures are lovely as well.

Keep it up Paizo.

  2. I'm hoping they use a better plastic than WotC did...

  4. Man that looks nice! Definitely on the wish list.

@Scott, agree, but doubtful on the plastic. The softer stuff is supposedly less of a danger to toddlers who find/consume them.

Hasbro did the same with action figure weapons a few years back and other manufacturers followed citing safety concerns.

  5. Any FLGS that is carrying the figs should be getting one dragon per case. Check with your FLGS to see if they have an extra dragon and ask them to put it aside for you.

I like most of them, but i'll be getting rid of the goblins and trolls pretty quickly.

The wife may not appreciate waking up to miniature goblins and trolls on her nightstand...

Thanks for the update, go Paizo.

WOTC mgmt really screwed up, on all sorts of fronts.

Its the minions who pay the price, of course, not the suits...

  10. That seems to be the one thing Wizards seems to do well, dropping the ball.
