Bachman-Turner Overdrive played music for the generation that preceded mine.
It doesn't mean I can't enjoy them, but I suspect their music is more meaningful to that generation than to me or mine. I still crank up the volume when I hear them on the radio though.

"House of the Rising Sun" was originally by the Animals, and their version was much better than BTO's.

Yes, I like the original version best. Several bands have covered this song, it's a classic.
ReplyDeleteGreat memories Aaron, thanks. BTO was in my time. Through i was a punky middle schooler at the time. Definitely some of the best driving music from that era!
