I've already shovelled twice. According to the news, there were 400 car accidents yesterday, due to the icy driving conditions.
Could be worse. Could be snow in August.
No, that is not my boat. Yes, you can use it whenever you want, just don't mention my name to the police.
Nice. Finally someplace I could use my snowshoes (they've been dormant since moving from northern Minnesota).
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeleteYou'll get a lot of use out of them here!
Though it is supposed to get up to 70 F by the weekend (currently 25).
Just across Crowchild in Tuscany, a 20-minute commute took an hour this morning. Sure could go for a Chinook right about now.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great photo. I love how the sky meets the snow seamlessly.
ReplyDelete@Rognar: Bring it on! For those of you who don't know what a "Chinook" is, its a mass of warm air that can result in a 40F temperature swing in under 2 hours.
ReplyDelete@Christian: just wait 'til I post another photo of the weather on Sunday. It'll be blue skys and green grass. That's Calgary for ya.
Nice blog, by the way. I'm a committed 3.5/Pathfinder militant myself, but I appreciate what the old-school movement represents.
ReplyDelete@Rognar: Pathfinder RPG is interesting, I keep eyeing the rules-manual (and I just picked up the Pathfinder Adventures "Skinsaw Murders" and "Howl of the Carrion King"). I am more of a casual gamer, so I have difficulty keeping up with the latest stuff.
ReplyDeletePlus, I have been playing with several "new" players, and a smaller rule-set avoids scaring them off!
