I tried to find a copy of this cover on the interwebs, so I didn't have to scan my copy of B&B, but I could not find my cover version, only the first printing and the GURPS version. So here is a scan of my copy of B&B, which I presume is the second edition, or perhaps just a reprint with a different cover.
We actually played this game, back in the day, and had a hoot.
Dennis Sustare was a guest at this year's NTRPG Con and is confirmed for the 2010 con also. Dennis has had a very interesting career in gaming and is quite an enjoyable guy to talk with, Bunnies and Burrows is only a small part of his legacy!
ReplyDeleteVery cool.
ReplyDeleteI love this game. I have been tempted to give it a whirl with my kids and some of the kids on the block.
Those are some skinny bunnies.
ReplyDeleteThe differences between the three covers of Bunnies & Burrows is interesting.
ReplyDeleteOn the first addition cover, you have what looks like Bunnies preparing for battle.
This is a much more sedate illustration.
On the Gurps Bunnies, you have two Bunnies attacking a dog.
Of the three covers, this seems to be the most "Watership Down" to me.
I love this scan of the cover. It is clear that it is a very old tale, but I have no doubts that it must be fascinating. It love taking generic viagra when I am reading a book because it relaxes me!
ReplyDeleteI still love this game!. 2nd edition didn't have that many changes I recall.
