Canadiana: Kim Mitchell

Some pretty negative vibes these days in the blogosphere. I think eveyone needs to take Kim Mitchell's advice...might as well go for a soda!

Might as well go for a soda nobody hurts and nobody cries
Might as well go for a soda nobody drowns and nobody dies
Might as well go for a soda its better than slander better than lies

And once you've done that, make sure you do your rock n roll duty.

Remember, we're not in it for the money, we're in it for love love love...

:) I remember "Go for a Soda" during one summer when I was in high school. Fun song!

Some KM trivia: Kim Mitchell appeared in the rockumentary Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage.

Gor for a Soda is a great summer song!

Did not know about Mitchell's appearance in that rockumentary.

Soda. I used to say that when I lived on the east coast. Now it sounds odd to me. I'm a pop girl now.

Hope you're having a groovy weekend. We're cleaning a bit today. Made some yummy chicken last night and I'm looking forward to eating it again today.

Happy Weekend :-)

I'm a pop drinker too. When people say soda I think of soda-water, which is just unsweetened carbonated water used as a mixer. Yugh.

We had some friends over last night and had home-made pizza, then watched a couple of episodes of Community with them.

Sounds like it was some good chicken. You have a great weekend too!

Love, love, love homemade pizza. Yum. If you ever want to do a guest blog and cook over at my place, you are always more than welcome. Not that you can't just do that here, too.

I saw that one episode of Community when they did the gaming. Enjoyed it.

Sunny outside today. Miss Wiggy is veggin'in the sun, looking ever so cute.

Might hit the bookshop but other than that, no real big plans. Just nice to be away from work.

Happy Weekend :-)

If you enjoyed the gamin episode, I also recommend the first-season paintball episode of Community.
